When fashion meets food


"Don't play with your food," our mothers always told us. We obediently listened, but those who didn't became successful fashion illustrators.

   Take, for example, Gretchen Röehrs. The San Francisco-based artist creates beautiful fashion sketches and combines real food into her drawings. From watermelon slices to green leafy vegetables, Röehrs has the ability to transform these snacks into fashionable clothes in her designs.

   If you'll excuse me, I have to go grab a salad because my mouth is watering over the amount of detail in these illustrations.
