Adrian Skenderovic - Follow the Guide

French photographer Adrian Skenderovic often wanders the streets of Paris in search of extraordinary situations within the ordinary. His Follow the Guide series presents a subtle observation of things that go unnoticed, and catalogs the baffling tourism industry in The City of Lights:  "Among the 15 million tourists that visit Paris every year, many travel in a tour group, only leaving the bus to see the monuments and shop in the department stores. Adrian sees things from the tourists’ point of view, capturing the various props raised by their guides to signal a meeting point. Car antenna, selfie stick, wooden stick, kid saber, teddy bear, plastic flowers, and other unique objects are held in front of the blurred monuments in the background."

We are only limited by our own imagination.

Erik Johansson is a Swedish photographer and visual artist whose work is worth checking out. Looking through his portfolio, I am left speechless by the way he can manipulate images. But unlike other digital artists, Erik makes ideas come to life without CGI or stock photography; just complex combinations of his own photos. The overall effect is mind-bending, surreal and beautiful, all at the same time.

Anything but angelic

Charlie's Angels' Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska grace V magazine's Winter 2019 issue, on newsstands November 7th. If that's not enough to make you grab a copy of the mag, this might.   The female-centric spy reboot is scheduled to be released on November 15. Expect violence, lots of costume changes, some sexy stuff, and a dance number.

Eric Ogden and his 'Half-Remembered Season'

Michigan-born Eric Ogden produces images that look as if they were stills captured from films. What I really like about his work is his ability to execute striking photos with great use of light. Eric's portfolio includes portraits of A-list celebs, breathtaking landscapes, and other commercial stuff. His photos have appeared in The New Yorker, Esquire, The New York Times Magazine, The Atlantic, The Wall Street Journal, Vanity Fair, Time, and Rolling Stone, among others. My personal favorite is his photo series called A Half-Remembered Season , in which the subjects look like they were frozen in time. They're both intriguing and seductive. Whether it is a child on a swing in midair, a young waitress standing inside a soda shop, or a beautiful brunette floating in a swimming pool, someone is trying to tell a story. You can explore more of Eric's work on his website .

Amazing underwater photography by Elena Kalis

Elena Kalis is a talented Russian-born photographer based in The Bahamas, who takes stunning underwater portraits. When I joined Google+ back in 2011, she was one of the first photographers the social network recommended to me. Below you will find a small sample of Elena's work. For more amazing images, I highly recommend you visit her website .
