Consider yourself in luck if you have a sudden craving for literature wandering around Grenoble, France. A few machines in the city's public spaces will give you short stories for free at the push of a button.
Publishing start-up Short Edition built these black-and-orange contraptions that offer random stories of varying length. Each story is printed on a receipt-like slip, and you can choose if you want something that will take one, three or five minutes to read. The vending machines are currently available only in Grenoble, but the guys from Short Edition have high hopes for the future of the technology.
