The Happiest House on Earth

Pop art enthusiasts (and SpongeBob, of course) will love this colorful cluster of buildings in Braunschweig, Germany. Built in 2001 by German architect Konrad Kloster and the late American artist James Rizzi, the Happy Rizzi House features psychedelic designs, smiling faces together with heart shaped windows, stars, flowers and birds.

Colorful houses aren't for everyone. But after you look through these pictures, you might end up turning your humble abode into a version of your own technicolor dream.
