Stunning anatomical embroidery by Juana Gomez


Juana Gómez is an artist from Chile who uses thread to weave intricate illustrations on top of images of the human body. Her embroideries remind me of the anatomical drawings made by Italian Renaissance artists; so much detail and craft is put into each piece. More about Juana and her art here.

Jewelle Yeung creates some beautiful, soothing paintings. Her vivid strokes and soft blends invite the viewer to transition between reality and the dream. They're vibrant and dynamic, but at the same time elegant and graceful.
