Ma'agalim - Jane Bordeaux


Jane Bordeaux's video for their latest single Ma'agalim combines some of the things dearest to my heart: old penny arcades and animated short films. It's a beautiful song, but the quality of the video surpasses the music behind it. It's one of those you are amazed about once, and you never forget again. Okay, okay, I'll shut up now. Just watch the video and thank me later.

I find them quite intriguing, these ghostly portraits that Uttaporn Nimmalaikaew paints on mosquito nets. His creations look like a hologram, changing form depending on where the viewer stands. Overall, they're gloomy, haunting, and endlessly fascinating. I could stare at them for ages. [h/t: Colossal ]
