A remarkable friendship that built a forest


I am his hands. He is my eyes. tells the incredible story of two disabled men who have spent more than a decade planting trees together in a small Chinese village. One is blind while the other is a double amputee. Together, the two have planted over 10,000 trees around their community and have become inseparable.

These images are from a series of wall sculptures created by Yen Yen Lo . Here you can see her intricately textured ceramic pieces, looking downright adorable. Yen Yen Lo's eye for the unique and whimsical is delightful. Apparently they are not intended for kids under 16. Fifteen-year-olds cannot be trusted with fragile stuff. Get them a Funko Pop instead.
