This is pretty cool: director Sam Peacocke ditched his cameras and used an industrial laser scanner and a Kinect to create this music video for Pacific Heights's Buried by the Burden . It's grainy, ghostly, and downright fascinating. New Zealand-based songwriter and producer Devin Abrams, who performs under the moniker Pacific Heights, offers a few words about the video: "This project replicates the constantly decaying mechanism of memory by way of the techniques used to make it. No cameras were used at any stage in the production; instead low‐resolution, 3D models of environments were captured with an industrial laser scanner. Into these worlds we then placed the vocalist, Louis Baker; his likeness in motion was captured with a gaming interaction sensor, the X‐Box Kinect." [h/t: Nowness ]

Brazilian-Korean designer Hyo Taek Kim has created a series of posters based on the animated films of Hayao Miyazaki in Andy Warhol 's signature style. Called the Special Soup Series , the posters are of course a play on Warhol's renowned Campbell's Soup Cans. Kim tells The Creators Project : "I wanted Campbell's Soup pieces on my wall, but without the whole branding and everything else. That's when I decided to design my own soup collection with Miyazaki." If you need to get one of these for your wall, prints are available for purchase at society6 .

Over the past few years, Polish photographer Pawel Bogumil has traveled to more than fifteen zoos throughout Europe to capture images of primates displaying human traits and behaviors. Pawel's black and white portraits are enthralling and profound; sincere in their depictions of reality. His photo series, titled inHUMAN , is being exhibited at the Leica Gallery in Warsaw until April 3, 2016. Curator Rafal Lochowski offers a few words about the exhibit: "Some of the photographs make us afraid of these mighty animals – others make us wonder who the person is and what they are thinking about. We subconsciously forget that we are looking at an animal. These skillfully made portraits by Bogumil make our hair stand on end." [h/t: Resource Magazine ]

Juana Gómez is an artist from Chile who uses thread to weave intricate illustrations on top of images of the human body.
