This Korean channel is my new favorite on YouTube

Thestory is a gold mine of arts and popular culture. It covers a wide range of topics such as origami, illustration, sculpture, culinary arts, LEGO, Gundam, and other interesting stuff. One of its latest videos is about a man who likes to draw things while traveling. Enjoy!

This art installation aims to raise awareness on domestic violence

What you see here is an art installation featuring 440 pairs of high heels. The shoes were recently hanged by Turkish artist and graphic designer Vahit Tuna on a facade of a building in downtown Istanbul to highlight domestic abuse. Each pair represents one of the 440 women killed in Turkey last year by their partner or husband. How sad that is.

Meet India's gravity-defying motorcycle riders

Gladiators on Wheels is a short film by Souvid Datta that showcases stunt drivers on motorcycles speeding around a near-vertical pit known as the Well of Death . Tickets are extremely cheap, and daredevils from West Bengal wear no safety gear as they rocket in circles across 60ft walls. Sometimes spectators would entice them with money to ride closer to the edge and perform crazy stunts. Interest in these sideshows is on the decline, however, as a new generation turns to electronic diversions.

Moe Nakamura's Whimsical Sculptures

Moe Nakamura is an artist from Tokyo who carves whimsical characters from wood. Her work is a perfect combination of weird and adorable, and her Instagram is one of those accounts that takes you by surprise as you're scrolling down for more. Moe's creations bring me back to the days when I was young and fell so deeply in love with the world of art.

What the hell is going on in O2's new commercial?

There are adverts so good, you'll never forget them. There are also adverts so bad, you can't help but remember them. Where does this O2 commercial that shows the 2019 England Rugby team as samurai fall then? The soundtrack is great and the visuals are even cooler, but I still find the whole thing... well you just need to watch it, because I'm struggling to come up with the words to describe their new campaign.

None of these people are real

At first glance, these faces look like a bunch of ordinary-looking people. But the truth is, none of them exist. All of these faces are fakes, completely generated by artificial intelligence. The images can be used by anybody—no copyrights, royalties, or other legal issues to worry about. Simply go to generated.photos , browse on Google Drive, download the headshots, and include link attribution back to the website. Icons8 , the company behind the project, trained their algorithm to learn patterns from 29,000 photos of 69 models over the course of three years. The AI used these images to learn about different aspects of people's faces like eye shapes, hair color and skin tone. Thanks, Gilbert.

Stuff Monster

I'm a sucker for a great story behind a memorable ad, and this Ikea commercial is something I won't be forgetting anytime soon.
