Melbourne is building a skyscraper inspired by Beyoncé

Beyonce's curvaceous frame makes men (and women) drool. Now, it has even inspired architects to build this massive skyscraper.

Australian firm Elenberg Fraser has secured a planning approval to construct Melbourne's Premier Tower, which was partly inspired by the 33-year-old singer's 2014 Ghost video. The 68-story building, which will house 660 apartments and a 160-room hotel, will be erected at 134 Spencer St., just across the road from Southern Cross, one of Melbourne's major train and bus terminals.

No word on estimated completion date, but after this one I hope the guys over at Elenberg will build a Tove Lo tower, because that really needs to happen.

Taika Waititi has two special powers: hilarity and reimagining

Taika Waititi's latest film is called Jojo Rabbit , a World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy (Roman Griffin Davis) who just so happens to have an imaginary friend in the form of Adolf Hitler (Waititi). But Jojo's beliefs are tested when he discovers that his hot mom (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding an equally attractive Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their attic. Guided only by the Führer, Jojo must confront his blind patriotism. Based upon the book Caging Skies by Christine Leunens, Jojo Rabbit opens in theaters October 18th.

James DeRosso's ceramic monsters

I really like these whimsical ceramic creatures by James DeRosso. Yes, they have bulging eyes and toothy grins, but they're not scary at all. The Portland-based artist started making cute monsters while he was a student to jokingly create gargoyle-like guardians for the kiln. After other students kept taking his quirky little figures, he realized there was a market for them. "I'm enjoying the whole monster making niche," James says. "It's amazingly gratifying to be doing ceramics full time and especially to be a teacher introducing kids to the joy of clay."
