This brilliant ad campaign uses sculptures of kids made from books to recruit librarians

As we all know, the number of certified librarians have dropped dramatically over the past years, and the Japanese government, specifically Yokohama, is doing something to bring them back in to schools as facilitators of knowledge and growth.

The Yokohama City Board of Education worked with a Dentsu Tokyo creative team for this brilliant campaign, which was launched earlier this year. Education is what is going to close the poverty gap and I believe that we need more ads like these.

"Pass on the joy of reading. We require Librarians."
