We all know Meryl Streep can sing, but she's not exactly a guitarist. In her latest film, Ricki and the Flash, the 66-year-old actress plays an aging rocker who attempts to reconcile with her neglected kids. To be convincing, Streep spent six months learning to play the guitar and according to director Jonathan Demme, she sings and plays on all 10 tracks featured in the Diablo Cody-penned flick. A new video, below, shows the multiple Oscar winner getting a guitar lesson from Neil Young, who also happens to be an aging rocker.
Set to Julia Holter's This is a True Heart, Eagle Blue follows the story of a mother eagle looking to feed her young, but is lured into the town with the temptation of an easy meal.
