Honda reveals half bike, half car concept

This mean machine is called Project 2&4 Concept, a road-legal sports car that Honda says combines "the freedom of a motorcycle and the maneuverability of a car." It looks like an oversized go-kart, but don't be fooled by its appearance.

The vehicle is powered by the 999-cc V4 from one of Honda's MotoGP motorcycles. Matched to a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, the 215 horsepower engine delivers 158kW at 13,000rpm, with peak torque of "over" 118Nm delivered at 10,500rpm. The Project 2&4 Concept will be on display at next week's Frankfurt Motor Show. There is no word, however, if the single-seater will ever see production.
