These pencil drawings are often mistaken for photographs because they're so realistic


No, they're not black and white photos. These are highly detailed pencil drawings by Scottish artist John Fisher. Seriously.

You know what? John's illustrations are so good that people think he's using an app. About four months ago, he was visited by Trading Standards reps to interrogate him about the authenticity of his work. John invited the officers inside his studio, showed them his half-finished compositions, and even rubbed some bits out to convince those folks that he used real pencils to create them. It didn't take long for the inspectors to believe the artist as the evidence was there.
