You may never own a real Defender, but you can proudly display this impressive LEGO Technic model, a collaboration between Land Rover and the Danish toy brand.

The 2,573-piece kit is packed with authentic details and features, including a six-cylinder engine with a working winch, removable roof rack with storage box, a working steering wheel and forward-folding rear seats that reveal the 4-speed sequential gearbox. The replica measures over 8 inches high, 16 inches long and 7 inches wide.

The LEGO Technic Land Rover Defender will be available starting October 1st and could set you back by about Php10,300. Time to start saving.

Enigmatic Shapes and Psychedelic Patterns

To say that I love Sanagi 's work is an understatement. Looking at her art feels sort of therapeutic, and I find her drawings refreshingly intricate. They're trippy, psychedelic, and resemble something that you might see under a microscope. Not much is Googleable about Sanagi, but that's fine. There aren't many artists these days that still pull off the whole mysterious vibe, so I commend her for that. By the way... they're all hand-drawn with pen and ink.

Japanese artist En Iwamura creates adorable ceramic sculptures

Kyoto-born artist En Iwamura is showing his latest ceramic creations in a special show on August 31 at the Ross+Kramer Gallery in East Hampton, New York. En's sculpted objects, which he describes as three-dimensional clay doodling, exudes nothing but good vibes with their quirky, playful style. He consciously uses childhood influences such as manga and anime, and draws inspiration from both American and Japanese historical and pop-cultural references along with his own life experiences. Born in 1988, En completed both his BFA and MFA in craft from Kanazawa College of Art and Craft in 2011 and 2013, respectively. His works have been shown in New York City, Seattle, Kansas City, Durham, NC, Japan, Canada, China and more. Thanks for the tip, Rachel.
