Helga Stentzel's Whimsical Art

Helga Stentzel has amassed more than 150,000 Instagram followers and it's clear to see why. Her playful optical illusions using household items are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Through meticulous assemblage and graceful composition, a loaf of bread can become a cute dog, a camera can turn into a washing machine and pieces of laundry can turn into adorable farm animals.

Aside from Helga's IG, you can also check out her online store where you can find signed prints that come with physical certificates of authenticity.

The Adorable Sculptures of Yen Yen Lo

These images are from a series of wall sculptures created by Yen Yen Lo . Here you can see her intricately textured ceramic pieces, looking downright adorable. Yen Yen Lo's eye for the unique and whimsical is delightful. Apparently they are not intended for kids under 16. Fifteen-year-olds cannot be trusted with fragile stuff. Get them a Funko Pop instead.

Overall, they're gloomy, haunting, and endlessly fascinating. I could stare at them for ages. [h/t: Colossal ]
