From the same guys who brought us that horse-leech eating earthworm video, this is a time-lapse compilation of plants growing from seeds. Boxlapse photographed various plants for 520 days and turned all the images into this stunning 8-minute clip. That's some serious shi*t. FYI, I've never done anything for 520 days straight but delete all those marketing emails.

I find them quite intriguing, these ghostly portraits that Uttaporn Nimmalaikaew paints on mosquito nets. His creations look like a hologram, changing form depending on where the viewer stands. ReadOn is a free mobile app that entices children to read. Every time a child turns on their mobile device, the first thing they see is a page of a children's book. The child has to read it, understand it, and then answer a question before the device is unlocked. The app was developed for Mexico but will be available worldwide.
