Freya, who is currently based in Sydney, draws inspiration from the works of Guiseppe Archimboldo and other artists such as Ron Mueck, Kathe Kollwitz and Frida Kahlo to create amusing, yet unsettling pieces.

With a focus on technical craftsmanship through intricate dissection and reconstruction of the humanoid face using recognizable toys in my assemblages."
